Attend an Event
Every September is our annual Sydney Coxon Memorial Golf Tournament, and we sell cards and jewelry at farmers markets and other venues year-round. Check back on our blog and check out our calendar in the sidebar to find out when there's an event near you!
Host an Event
If you want to make an even bigger impact, consider holding an event of your own to support us and Children's Hospital.
Event ideas: It's easy to get involved! Hosting an event to support the Pink Polka Dots can be a great way for teens and tweens to fulfill community service requirements and learn about event organization. Some simple ideas include reselling our art card inventory and reminded bands, making your own crafts (bracelets, cards, etc.), or even holding a lemonade stand. If you're looking for something a little more involved, dinners, parties, and letter-writing campaigns can be very effective. Need some help? Feel free to contact us for guidance!
Speaking Engagements
PPD members realize how important it is to motivate young people to become activists and to encourage all people to contribute what they can in the fight against cancer. PPD members are happy to share our experiences, as we know how much it can help others. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in having our founding members or current leadership speak at an event.
