"Our Generation" Shares PPD's story!

We made $419 on Sunday!

At the indoor Lake Forest Park Farmer's Market this Sunday, PPD sold $419 worth of cards and other crafts! If you missed the sale, you can easily buy PPD cards online on our "buy cards" tab above.

Time for Holiday Shopping!

Tomorrow's "cyber Monday" when everyone logs on to do their e-shopping for the holidays! Include PPD cards on your gift list and feel good about what you're buying. You can order any of our cardsets online from the tab above right now. If you're interested in shopping the rest of our inventory, like hand-crafted unique cards, jewelry, or special pink polka dotted BabyLegs (among many other things!) look for us at the Lake Forest Park indoor Holiday Market on December 11th.

Pink Polka Dots Supporting Other Fundraisers

September was a busy time for the Pink Polka Dots!

We volunteered at the Seattle Brain Cancer Walk, a very large fundraiser for brain cancer research at Swedish Hospital. Working in the children's area, we painted faces, handed out balloons, and manned prize tables. The event was a huge success--it raised more than $900,000!

We also attended the Seattle Run of Hope, which supports the same lab as we do. It was a fabulous event and raised more than $265,000!

Keep these annual events on your radar. If you're in the Seattle area, you should participate next year!

$73,000 brought in at the 5th Annual Sydney Coxon Memorial Golf Tournament!

The Pink Polka Dots Guild would like to thank everyone who participated in the golf tournament yesterday, including the planning committee, volunteers, golfers, diners, speakers, sponsors, and donators.

Pink Polka Dots appear on Our Generation doll boxes!

Battat Toy's "Our Generation" dolls feature inspiring stories on their boxes. Their feature of PPD reads:

"This is Maddy, Kelsey, and Sierra's story. When they were in 6th grade, Maddy, Kelsey, and Sierra lost their very good friend Sydney to a brain tumor. To honor their friend, the girls started the Pink Polka Dots Guild and carried out a garage sale that Sydney had planned, one whose proceeds would go to help people with brain cancer. The garage sale raised $9,000, but the Guild was just getting going. Next came lemonade stands, greeting cards and even an annual golf tournament. X Factor

The Pink Polka Dots went to see the taping of Simon Cowell's new show The X Factor and for every person that PPD brought to the taping, we recieved $10 from the production company! We ended up having 28 people show up to support our cause! Thanks everyone!
